What should I expect?

At Fair Oaks, we feel that it's our responsibility to "clear the way" for you to come to church. We
want you to be able to experience the music, encouraging messages, friendly people and
enjoyable atmosphere that are a part of Fair Oaks. We know that your first time visiting a church
can bring up questions such as: How do I get there...what's available for my kids...what should I
expect?

We hope you'll join us on Sunday to see what we're all about! Through multi-media presentations,
uplifting music and practical messages, we present the ageless truths of the Bible in a format
that's easy to understand, even if you've never been.

At Fair Oaks, we'll make sure that the first face you see when you arrive has a smile on it.
Whether you need childcare or a Sunday School class for yourself, a greeter will be nearby to
help you get where you need to go.

Before You Arrive - Get Directions!
We are located at 1925 Risdon Road in Concord, CA. You can get directions from your doorstep

Sunday Morning:
Parking: We have ample parking space, but still recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to get
your family situated.
Nursery, Toddlers & Preschool: We know that as a parent you need to be sure that
your children are in a safe and loving environment. Our nursery, toddler, and preschool rooms are
available for your children during 9:00 am Sunday School Classes and the 10:30 am Worship
Service.
Adult & Youth Sunday School 9:00 am: We have both adult & youth (1st grade
through college age) Sunday School Classes that begin at 9:00 am on Sunday mornings. To find

College, visit Youth Connections.
Sunday Morning Worship Service 10:30 am: Our Sunday morning service begins at
10:30 am in the Sanctuary. When you enter the Sanctuary, a greeter will hand you a Worship
Folder. The Worship Folder will inform you of upcoming calendar dates, a communication card,
and an outline of the message for that morning.

After the Service:
Meet the pastor in our front lobby, learn more about Fair Oaks Church, and explore opportunities
to get connected. Feel free to visit our library, located in the Adult Learning Center, Room 120.

Final Note:
Whether this is your first time to visit a church, it's been a long time since you've been, or you are
searching for a new home church, Fair Oaks has you in mind! There's already enough for you to
think about when you're visiting a church for the first time. We hope that getting some of this
"stuff" out of the way will not only encourage you to join us on Sunday, but also help you to
connect with the hope and encouragement that God our Father has for you.
