Each year, the women at Fair Oaks have an opportunity to attend the Annual Women's Retreat hosted by the Northern California Baptist Conference. This is a fabulous opportunity for all women, regardless of where you are in your journey, to join together for a weekend of friendship, worship, prayer, and good clean girl fun! The 2007 Women's Retreat was held on January 19-21 in Monterey, CA. Over 50 Fair Oaks women attended the conference this year! We were blessed to hear from the feature speaker, Cynthia Heald, author of "Maybe God is Right After All." Additional seminar topics included: Lord, Teach Us To Pray, ADHD: Discover, Plan & Liberate, What Your Mother Never Told You, 1001 Ways to Introduce Children to the Bible, and many others. The 2008 Retreat will be the weekend of January 25th-27th in beautiful Monterey, CA. |
