What To Expect
Visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking—especially these days! But having an idea of what to expect can help. Please take a look at the information below and let us know if you have any questions.
WHAT WILL THE SERVICE BE LIKE?
The service will last for about an hour. During this time, we’ll be singing familiar Christmas carols, lighting candles, and hearing a shorter than normal message from our pastor about the significance of God being born as a baby. We may also have a special surprise element along the way! Whether you have no background in church, haven’t been to church in a long time, or have been coming for many years, we’ve built this service with a variety of elements to help you engage with the Christmas story in a fresh and meaningful way, right where you’re at.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
This will be a family-friendly service, so your kids are welcome (and encouraged) to join us! We will have coloring sheet available to help them follow along. Unlike Sundays, there will be no separate children’s ministry for our Christmas Eve service.
WILL THERE BE ANOTHER SERVICE OFFERED ON CHRISTMAS DAY?
No, our 5:30pm Christmas Eve service will be our only gathering for the weekend. If you are looking for a place to worship on Christmas morning, we recommend joining our Calvary Chapel friends at their usual location (just 2 miles up the road) at 10am. Get the details here.
