What To Expect
Visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking—especially these days! But having an idea of what to expect can help. Please take a look at the information below and let us know if you have any questions. We look forward to meeting you soon!
WE’RE CURRENTLY MEETING OUTDOORS
As we continue prioritizing the health and wellbeing of our church and community during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently holding our gatherings outdoors. Thank God we live in California!
MASKS & SOCIAL DISTANCING
We are also following the California religious gathering guidelines, which currently require face coverings and social distancing for outdoor services.
* In light of the latest update to the State’s guidelines, masks are now optional while at your seat. We ask that you please continue to keep your mask at all other times—basically think of Sundays like you would going to a restaurant.
SEATING
Rows of chairs will be placed 6 feet away from the surrounding chairs in all directions. In order to maintain social distancing, we ask that you limit each row to 1 household. Don’t worry if you only fill half the row; there will be plenty of seating options for everyone!
WHAT’S A SERVICE LIKE?
Our services usually last around 75 minutes. We begin by singing to and about God, then we hear a message from God's Word, followed by a time of responding to what God says to us through His Word. The atmosphere is casual, reflective, and open to all.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Bringing your kids? Great! We have a program designed to teach them about Jesus in an age appropriate way and to have some fun while you’re in service. Stop by the welcome tent when you arrive to get your kids checked in for Kids Ministry. Learn more.
